on the National Mall
The Fannie Mae Help the Homeless Walkathon on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. benefits local nonprofit organizations that work to prevent and end homelessness; provide services to the homeless, including permanent supportive housing; and help homeless people return to independent living.
Participate in Fannie Mae’s Help the Homeless Walkathon by walking in support of Wesley Housing’s mission!

Time:
Registration opens at 7 AM
Pre-Walkathon Program begins at 8:30 AM
Walkathon begins at 9 AM
Transportation:
Metro recommended.
Take the Orange Line or Blue Line to the
Smithsonian Station.
Metro opens early at 6 AM
Cost:
Pre-registration
$15 for youth (age 25 and younger) and $25 for adults
Event Day Registration
$15 for youth and $30 for adults Place:
National Mall, Washington, DC
Smithsonian Metro Station
Pre-registered check-in is on the Mall at 7th Street.
Event Day Registration is between 12th and 14th Streets
on the Dept. of Agriculture lawn, across Jefferson Drive from the National Mall.
** If you do choose to participate in the National Walkathon, please remember to enter Wesley Housing Development Corporation (VA040) as the Beneficiary Organization for which you are walking. If you do not enter our name and do not properly check-in the day of the walk, we will not receive your support. |
