History: Wesley Housing purchased 20 acres of land (valued at $372,750 in 1977) for $1.00 from the Vernon M. Lynch Sons Partnership after obtaining rezoning and federal assistance. Wesley Housing donated 10 acres along Turkey Cock Run to the Fairfax County Park Authority for passive recreation. The property was substantially completed in September 1979.

In 2009, Wesley Housing purchased the property with finance partners Fairfax Housing Redevelopment Authority, the Virginia Housing Development Authority, and Boston Capital. By doing so, the community will be preserved as affordable for another 40 years. Redevelopment plans include renovations to the units and the expansion and renovation of the onsite Community Resource Center.
