History: Purchased in August 1981 for $795,500. Wesley Housing operated Knightsbridge Apartments "as is," while HUD rental assistance and mortgage insurance applications were processed. Residents were then relocated on site for phased-in rehabilitation, including new, individual heating and air conditioning units, windows, appliances, roofs, and landscaping. Rehabilitation was completed September 1983. In November 2003, Wesley Housing purchased the Whitefield Commons and Knightsbridge Apartments from its partners.
